Dusty describes himself as a true perfectionist and
go-getter, with a passion for food, health, and cooking. In South
Africa, he ran his own café and worked for years in the kitchens of
five-star restaurants and hotels. As a chef, Dusty traveled the world.
His work was demanding, yet incredibly enriching. "As a chef, I had the
privilege of working with some of the most inspiring chefs in the world.
I'm incredibly grateful for that opportunity."

While working in the Netherlands, Dusty met the love of
his life. They decided to build a life together in Rotterdam. Once
settled in the Netherlands, he wasn't satisfied with the kombucha
flavors he could find in stores. He decided to start brewing his own
kombucha at home. He spent a year researching and understanding the
complexities of brewing, ultimately creating the perfect, balanced
flavor.
